Throwback: Day 1 in Prague (Rosemary Hostel)
If you have shoe string budget to travel Europe, the cheapest way is to sleep in a dorm room. I booked Rosemary Hostel's mixed dorm room, was hoping my roommates would be female but I was the only female with 3 males. Anyway, I liked this hostel because of its ideal location and cleanliness. Check out their website here: http://www.pragueaccommodationservice.com
The pink colour sign is the location of Rosemary Hostel. It can easily be missed because there's no obvious signboard.
Quiet street but safe
Room no. 48
I chose the first bed because the beds with good location were taken.
Outside of my room
The toilet
The bathroom is separated from toilet.
The kitchen, fully equipped. Kettle, coffee maker, microwave, oven, pots, frying pans, etc. You can prepare your own meal here.
The dining tables. Everything is good but the TV on the wall was not functioning.

Throwback: Overnight at Airport Heathrow London
Thanks to Airasia, I have made my best trip ever to Europe in 2010. Though the route has ceased but the memory always remained. I decided to post my Europe trip because I would like to recall the details. This is the second solo trip I made after Taiwan trip. If you ask me, is it fun to travel alone? I would tell you it's the best ever decision in my life. Though lonely at times, but you and your very self get closer.
My flight to London was on 09th Oct 2010, I remember the date clearly as I landed in Prague on 10th October 2010. Spent a night at Heathrow Airport, flew to Prague on the next early morning. It was not very comfortable to sleep at Heathrow Airport because the chair equipped with hands rest. Couldn't lay flat. There were many tourists staying overnight at there too. If you are late comer, you might not able to get a seat at all. But you are most welcome to sleep on the floor with your sleeping bag.
Pre-booked meal
Rent the entertainment set, free earphone. At the least the whole journey it would be too bored.
Beautiful scenery, a sea of cloud
Landed finally at Heathrow Airport
Connecting train to the main building
Custom clearance
Waiting for luggage
Outside the airport. The breeze was cold.
Everything is expensive. Bought the cheapest sandwich. Taste was very nice though.
I took easyJet to Prague on the next day, 10th Oct 2010. Flight time was 0715am. Queuing at the check-in counter.
Breakfast - Cup soup
Landed at Praha Airport
Getting bus ticket to metro station
The ticket looks like this
Bus stop outside Praha Airprot, taking no. 119 to Dejvicka
Arrived at Dejvicka station. Taking train to Mustek, heading to Rosemary Hostel.

Nam Nam Cafe, Kuching
Address: 53-A, Ground Floor, Lot 16709, Block 11, Tabuan Heights Commercial Centre, Jalan Song
Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/namnamcafeKuching
My last visit to Nam Nam Cafe was on 05th May this year, second visit. The photos have been kept in my photo folder for quite sometime. I was actually thinking to go back to try out the Pho Tai (Pho Beef Steak Slices) as this reminded me my days in Perth. I enjoy to have uncooked bean sprouts and fresh mint leaves, also the half-raw beef slices in soup. Another favourite of mine is Goi Cuon, fresh spring rolls.
I ever had the Vietnamese grilled chicken rice at Premier 101. The taste was good but that tauke didn't keep his stall look hygienic, at times I hesitated to order after seeing the dark cook oil in pot. But nevertheless it tastes so good because the scents of lemongrass blended well with the grilled chicken meat. Because of the chicken rice I had, I was tempted to try Nam Nam Cafe's version.
Nam Nam's Menus:
They serve Vietnamese coffee too.
Their desserts are nice too. I had 3 Colors Desserts on my first visit.
They update their menu by adding some new dishes from time to time. Good work.
If not mistaken, I ordered a lunch set. This should be grilled pork chop rice with three pieces of mini fried spring rolls. Pork meat tastes ordinary, no much surprise. You can predict the taste by judging from the picture. I believe chicken meat would taste better than pork.
Steamed Rice Cakes with Minced Pork and Chicken Floss. Taste is acceptable, but I am not too fond of this dish. The rice cake was rather soft and stuck on my teeth. But it should be hard to get it right, not too soft and not too hard. Perhaps this is how it should be?
I only visited Nam Name Cafe 2 times. Definitely will go back to try their other dishes too. But for personal opinion, the plate they used is rather too BIG that makes the presentation imperfect. The portion looks pitiful on my first impression.
I also have tried the Vietnamese most recognised dishes:
Shrimp rice paper rolls
Beef pho. Best to eat with fresh bean sprouts and mint leaves.

Jungle Ferns & Fruits Available in Sarawak
At Medan Satok Niaga, you can see many exotic fruits and jungle products. Introduce some of it first and update from time to time later when I visit market again. Not all are available in the market at all time, some depend on the harvest season.
Salak - Snake Fruit
Buah Keranji Madu - Velvet Tamarind (Dialum Indum)
Different grades of Dabai (black olive). Dabai lovers know how to differentiate the grade. To choose the good grade of Dabai, its skin has to be thin and meaty.
There are three types of jungle ferns available in the market (as I noticed). This is the hairy ferns. If you are interested to try, you can have it at The Dyak or Dayak Ruai.
We call this "Paku".
This is "Midin". The cheaper midin bundle has more full bloomed young leaves which tastes not as great as the curled leaves.
If you buy midin at the supermarket, one bundle costs RM5.
To be updated from time to time.
