J Sum Bake House is new bakery in town, located at Jalan Song (between Pizza Hut and 7-11). The other day after dinner, my friend and I had a walk around the area in trying to burn some calories off. Passed by this newly opened bakery. Decided to get some buns for breakfast. Unfortunately not much choices left.
The other day I went back again in the morning. Discovered they have wide variety of buns. And their buns are different from other conventional bakery shops in Kuching. They have durian bun, cempedak bun, sweet potato bun, durian puff and etc. which is something new to us. Looks more appetizing and price is reasonable.
One-bite durian puff at RM1 each. This is one of their signature products.
The bun texture is soft. I like their durian, cempedak and curry chicken buns (although I am not so into bread and bun). If you are a bun lover, you should try J Sum's buns.
