My friend brought me here for early dinner before sending me back to hotel. This place is located at Imbi but not within walking distance of Imbi monorail station. According to my friend, this cafe usually is tough to get a parking in the am for breakfast. We arrived at this cafe around 6:30pm, there were plenty of parking lots available.
They are famous for its breads and pastries too. My friend let me try its chocolate log bread. It's soft and tastes good too. But their cupcakes are quite disappointing, not recommended.
My cup of cappuccino.
I like their mushroom soup, very thick aroma of mushroom and flavourful.
We ordered carbonara spaghetti. Not bad too, creamy and springy noodles with loads of cheese on top.
We also ordered one of their signature, the thin crust pizza. We tried its half & half pizza. It's the combination of margherita & cream based seafood pizza. The crust was awesome. Its crunchiness didn't disappoint me. And, I superb like the sourness of margherita flavour.

Black Market Restaurant & Lounge @Kg Pandan, Kuala Lumpur
Address: No. 16, Jalan Kampung Pandan, 55000 Kuala Lumpur.
Business hours: Monday to Sunday 11:00am - 3:00pm & 5:30pm - 12:30am
I went to KL in June for a getaway trip. My friend brought me to Black Market Restaurant for late dinner in conjunction to celebrate our birthdays.
We ordered three dishes in total. Crispy Pork Bacon Caesar Salad, RM26. The crispy pork was good, the pork skin was crunchy.
The main dish, we had this "Presa & Collar" (RM69), air-flown Spanish Iberico pork neck and collar grilled to "medium" doneness. We asked for well-done instead of medium-rare. Judging from the picture in the menu, we thought it's a big portion. But when it was served, we both just smiled at each other. Glad that the taste was good though. I specifically liked the dipping sauce, tastes slightly sour. Matched well with the grilled pork slices. A set of this comes with a small bowl of salad too.
This is highlighted as the top seller in their menu, called Pull Apart Cheesy Garlic Bread (RM24). We waited quite long for this, I thought the waiter has forgotten about it. Nearly finished our two dishes before this. I quite liked this too but the size was quite big, we were barely able to finish it. My friend joked that the leftover would cost half of the price. So slowly we managed to clear it by force.
The service of this restaurant was good. The parking is expensive if you don't have the parking coupon. The parking coupons will be given to dine-in customers after payment, and it has no expiration. It's worth to visit again.

Coollala Avocado Juice @CityOne MegaMall, Kuching
Address: #G5, Ground Floor, Mall 2, CityONE Megamall, No. 1, Jalan Song, 93350 Kuching
Business hours: Monday - Sunday 11am - 11pm
Coollala was used to sell coconut ice cream. In 2017, they started to sell juices. Juice made fresh with tangerine, mango, sweet purple potatoes, and grapes. The variety of juice got extended, now they have avocado as their signature menu, strawberry, raspberry, passion fruits, taro, etc. All the fruits are imported. They even have milk tea with pearls.
I bought their signature avocado juice. Too bad it only comes in one size, the volume is really too much for me. The avocado juice with fresh milk is really thick and concentrated. After consuming half, I started to get tired of it. Nevertheless, the price RM14 for this tall cup is acceptable due to the higher cost of imported fruits.
If I go to CityOne again, I would like to try out their different juices. It's quite a dilemma to decide which to buy when you wish to try it all.
Revisit on 22/07, my mum had Sweet Potato Fresh Milk RM14. She liked it.
I had this Strawberry Yakult, also RM14. Not the type of thick juice, it's more refreshing. Good thing is that they accept payment via Boost, Sarawak Pay, Alipay and WeChat pay too.

Teo Seafood 張海鮮廳 @Jalan Kampung Buntal, Santubong, Kuching
Address: 787, Jalan Kampung Buntal, 93010 Kuching, Sarawak
Business hours: Monday 5:30-9:30pm, Tuesday - Sunday 10:30am – 2pm, 3:30pm – 9:30pm
I brought my parents to Damai on the third day of Raya last month. After a long drive, we came here for lunch. As I have introduced Buntal 88 Seafood Centre before, this time I chose to dine at Teo Seafood. Next time I will try out the other two restaurants along the same road.
I have been to Teo Seafood before too. The service was good, and food serving time was quite fast too. The environment is breezy, quite a relaxed place for lunch and dinner.
Due to Raya holidays, the choices in the menus were limited. No clams, no fresh coconut. I ordered steamed prawns, sea cucumber soup, fried kangkong, curry bamboo clams, Teochew-style steamed fish.
The seafood was all fresh and I like every dish they served, especially the steamed prawns. It's my personal liking to eat prawns with plain taste. I don't like to eat prawns with flavours like salted eggs, butter style, etc. Steamed prawns with a dipping sauce like belacan or chili sauce are the best match to go with rice.
This is the small portion of sea cucumber soup. We have 3 pax, this portion is more than sufficient. The soup texture is thick, very flavourful.
Stir-fried kangkong with garlic. A vegetable dish is a must. At some restaurants, the kangkong would turn black after cooked, theirs was still greeny.
Curry bamboo clams. They have removed the clam shells for you. Very thoughtful.
My parents like to eat fish. The fish meat was smooth and tender. Taste sour because it's Teochew style, the broth goes well with rice too.

After lunch, brought my parents to Damai Central for a walk. It was my first visit too. Not much of attraction and the building is not well-maintained as well.
