Address: 1st Floor Sublot 45, Block 3, Saradise Kuching, Jalan Stutong, 93350 Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
Business hours: Wednesday - Monday 11:00am - 2:30pm & 5:30pm - 11:00pm; Closed on Tuesday
I work at Saradise Kuching but there are number of new restaurants newly opened which I have not yet to try out. Senchiru Izakaya is one of the Japanese restaurants at Saradise. My friend and I decided to dine at here because the menu looked appealing. First visit here, I was quite puzzled with the staff's work attire. Sports tee with baseball cap? The match looks awkward to me.
The variety of their menu is quite extensive. We took some time to choose and make up our mind. Price wise, still within acceptable range.
Since it's izakaya, we should try out their yakimono menu. If not mistaken, this should be Buta Mentai 明太子豬肉 RM6.00 per stick.
Eryngii Mushroom RM3.50 per stick, and Buta Belly also RM3.50 per stick.
I had this Mushroom Ramen, RM18. The broth was taste okay. However, the noodles they used is the same texture like kolo mee. The portion is huge since it's priced at RM18.
My friend had this Japanese Buta Curry RM12. She neither praised nor complained about the food, her answer was 'acceptable'.
The overall food taste is relatively average. Maybe this place is good to hang out with friends who drinks beer or sake to go with yakimono.

Kuching Festival Fair 2019 古晋美食节
Time flies, Kuching Festival Fair 2019 is going to end today, 18th Aug 2019. I only managed to visit once this year. However, this year I was lack of motivation to go. I didn't manage to visit every stall too because I had my baby nephew with me.
This stall was quite popular for its scallion pancake last year.
My sister-in-law bought their durian balls. Not bad too, but the ball was rather small in size.
I found something special at this stall, selling Kürtőskalács which I ever had it in Prague. They have two versions, sweet version is with ice cream on top, and salty version is stuffed with beef goulash. For more details, remember to watch the video clip attached below.
I had the craving for something sweet so I bought the ice cream version, sprinkled with Oreo powder. Cost RM11. The ice cream was great, the pastry was coated with chocolate so the texture was quite hard.
I forgot to snapshot a picture of the yakitori I bought. My bro asked me to get this curry fishball for him. Waited few minutes for my turn, decided to buy their three layer pork yakitori as well. Cost RM3 per stick. It turned out its taste was surprisingly great and the meat was juicy, this worth your time to queue up for. I would definitely go back for it again next year.
Saw these interesting things, apple fries and mee goreng cheese toastie. But we didn't get it.
This Swedish meatballs from Stall 190A is highly recommended as well.
We had this Duck Egg Fried Kueh Tiaw last year and its taste was delicious. This year my bro bought it again, but it was disappointing us. The taste was below par. According to my bro, it was fried by different lady this year.
Salted Egg York Chicken from Stall 81.
My bro never missed out his favourite Taiwanese minced pork rice.
White Rabbit Milk Tea is another hot item at Kuching festival fair this year.
Here is the compilation of my videos taken at Kuching Festival Fair 2019:
Goodbye Kuching Festival Fair 2019, I'll see you next year!

Breakfast @New Imbi Market, ICC Pudu, KL
Address: Jalan Kijang, Pudu, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
Business hours: Tuesday - Sunday 6:00am - 2:00pm; Closed on Monday
My friend drove me to ICC Pudu for breakfast before sending me off to KL Sentral. This was my first visit, but I'm sure I'll come back to explore further.
This Ah Weng Koh occupied the biggest space with prime location at ICC Pudu. I assume this must be famous and nice. However, customers are only allowed to dine within their area. No outside food and drinks allowed. Meaning to say, you can't have other food from other stalls at their space.
My friend highly recommended Ah Fook Yong TauFu CheongFun 阿福酿豆腐肠粉. She went to order the food so I asked to be seated and wait for her to bring me the food she recommended.
My friend asked me to buy this Bunn Choon egg tart home. I was keen to try the charcoal egg tart. Unfortunately, I was told by the girl that the egg tarts would only be ready at 8:30am. Too bad. I definitely will buy it next visit. I just found out Bunn Choon is also available at Petaling Street.
My friend bought Ah Fook Yong TauFu CheongFun too. Weird thing, it was not served on a plate but in a plastic bag. So I was not able to take a photo of the dish. I thought it's the soup type of yong taufu. The thing she brought to me is the dry version with thick curry gravy.
Then she also bought this nasi lemak. The taste was moderate, but the paste was rather too spicy.
My friend ordered Hainanese coffee for me and she had Teh C. The coffee was superb thick, not too sweet. We also had Hainanese toast. Honestly, Hainanese toast is not my cup of tea. I don't like to eat toast with unmelted butter.
Due to time constraint, we didn't linger long at this place. I learned this place for some time, always wanted to pay a visit. But whenever I traveled to KL, I failed to recall it. It's good to save it in my Google Map so that I know where to hunt good food next time.
