UPDATED: Homemade Pan Mee 2 has moved to new location, Hua Wei Yuan 华味园 at Galacity
Lately I have my favourite place for makan. I discovered this stall by chance, had kampua mee at here then found out majority of the customers ordered pan mee. Decided to make my next visit to try it out. And it then became my regular place for brunch nowadays.
This is the stall selling Pan Mee which I gonna introduce herein. The stall front looks unattractive and I didn't bother to have a look at the menu on my first visit. It's worth saying, never judge a book by its cover. I'm a pan mee lover. If you like pan mee too, it's definitely worth to pay a visit here. They have variety of pan mee menus for you to choose from.
On my first visit, I had the original pan mee soup. It was nice too. The soup is flavourful. They have 3 types of noodles: flat, round, and hand-torn.
Dry pan mee. Again, don't judge it by its look. This is one of my favourite menus at this stall too. They make the sambal by themselves, no belacan added so you are worry-free if you are allergic to it. I like their meatballs and pork meat slices too, the texture is soft and smooth.
If you like to have something sour and spicy, please do try their pan mee with sour and spicy soup (酸辣湯). The vendor usually provides a slice of lime to add more sourness of the soup. She always reminded me to taste the soup first before adding the extra lime juice. This menu is also my favourite. Slurp!
The other stall selling kolomee and kampua also not a bad choice. My mum had the handmade noodles, its taste has exceeded my expectation too. This morning we went there again, my mum ordered the Foochow soup noodles from the stir-fry stall. The taste also not bad, soup texture was thick and generous portion of ingredients.
