Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Gold Coast, Australia

Last day in Gold Coast, we decided to visit "zoo" to see Koala bears and kangaroos. In Google search results, we found only Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has Koala bears and kangaroos. We bought the tickets from Mari Court with discounted price. Saved some bucks for good dinner before we go to airport.

We left our luggage at Mari Court and took tram to Broadbeach South station. From there we took bus 700 to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

When we entered, we saw the koala bears in front of us.

So cute. Can watch it so closely..

Black Parrot is ready for take photography with visitor

We have watched two shows: Air Asia Free Flight Bird Show & Australiana Sheep Shearing Show.  The sheep didn't move at all, I once thought it is unreal.

Finally we met kangaroos, even fed a few of them. But most of them already fed by other visitors. Wasted AUD2 to get the food for them.

A baby kangaroo got frightened by sudden sound, hiding in the pouch.

After Currumbin Widlife Sanctuary, we planned to have nice dinner at Pacific Fair Mall, adjacent to Broadbeach South station.

The mall looks huge from outside. But we couldn't find any restaurant, except food court. The food court is quite small too. After browsed one round through, I chose to have the Japanese food (reluctantly, I didn't feel like having fast food too).  This is my order. The portion is generous.. But the rice is not the Japanese rice. Was quite disappointed actually. The miso soup also tastes quite pale. Looks like it is instant miso soup pack.

This is my mum's oyakodon

We wanted to have fish and chips. Unfortunately, couldn't find it at the food court... except this grilled fish fillet.

Left the mall around 5pm.. went back to our hotel to collect our luggage. Then took the tram to Broadbeach South station again to catch the bus 777 to Gold Coast airport.

At the departure hall, Gold Coast Airport.

Finally finished blogging my Gold Coast trip. Going to post the food I had in KL next.
