Address: Ground Floor, Sublot 78, Jalan Setia Raja, Stutong Parade Commercial Centre, 93250 Kuching, Sarawak
Last year my friend came back from Singapore, invited us to have lunch at Lee Coffee Shop as her uncle is operating a stall there selling Foochow cuisine. Looked at the menu and I found something new to me. The other day I brought my bro there too since we ran out of idea where to have dinner. There are number of choices available, and you can have the delicious Ping's fried chicken wings at here too.
The menu at the Foochow cuisine stall. Though the menu doesn't look appealing, but never judge a book by its cover. I have tried several dishes already, and I like their fried beehoon and deep fried beehoon the most.
This is the one I highly recommend, deep fried beehoon (deep fried mee hung).
This is how it looks like, deep fried beehoon. And it costs only RM6 with the sumptuous ingredients. A must-try dish! The beehoon is crispy, it tastes really great with the gravy after been soaked for a while.
This is the fried thick beehoon. Tastes good as well, but I personally prefer the thin beehoon.
This is the zao cai beehoon. This one is not as recommended as the uncle explained to me the zao cai packet available in Kuching market is not as fragrant and tasty as the traditional zao cai imported from China in bulk, which is still able to get in Sibu.
There's another stall at Lee Coffee Shop which is famous with its Zhao'an smoked duck too. Will blog it next. Stay tuned.

Hakka Handmade Noodles @ 龍鄉園 Loong Siang Yen, Kuching
Location: Ground Floor, 4909, Jalan Uplands, 93350 Kuching, Sarawak (The building block behind KWSP)
There is a stall here selling nice Hakka handmade noodles. And I like their Taiwan beef noodle the most, just that.. it is selling out very fast. I visited two times lately, didn't manage to have the Taiwan beef noodle. The taste of their beef noodle is similar to Nyan Shin's Taiwan beef noodle, the texture of the noodles also. Guess they are related.
The menus: Cha siew noodle (kolo mee), Taiwan beef noodle, chicken mushroom noodle, beef tripe noodle, minced beef meat noodle, kueh teow, bee hoon, and lao shu pan.
I went there quite late (around 11am), the Taiwan beef noodle sold out already. So I ordered this beef tripe noodle. The taste was equally good too. Tripe was stewed long hours, easy to chew. The texture of their handmade noodle is dense and springy.
It is very difficult to get a parking at this area during weekdays because of the visitors to KWSP. I would suggest to go there on Sunday.

Warung Nasi Kuning @ Giant Tabuan Jaya, Kuching
Location: G37, No. 1, Jalan Canna, Tabuan Tranquility Commercial Centre, 93350 Kuching, Sarawak (Located in Giant Hypermarket Mall)
I always do my grocery at Giant Tabuan Jaya. Had been tempted to try this authentic Indonesian cuisine for sometime. Until some day ago, I starved and remembered it should be still available after 2pm as it follows the mall operating hours.
As the name stated, I ordered their signature dish: Nasi Kuning. The yellow rice has the fragrant of pandan and herbs. Comes with sumptuous side dishes i.e. shredded egg, fried chicken, sambal, cucumber and mixed veges. The taste didn't disappoint me.
After the spicy food, it is best to have this refreshing drinks. I forgot what's the name called. Should be "es timun serut". Contains cucumber shreds, slightly with a taste of sourness too.
There's another Warung Nasi Kuning located at Jalan Tun Jugah too. Next time I should visit there to try out the other dishes.

Business hours: 10am - 2:30pm; 6pm - 10pm (Monday - Sunday)
Seoul Garden has existed in Kuching since my college year at Inti Sarawak. My bro commented that the BBQ buffet was good. For dinner session, one adult RM49 (RM52 after GST). Lunch session is cheaper. Do check with them for the latest pricing. They have promotion from time to time. The dining duration is limited to 2 hours. The customer service was very good and attentive. The staff came to flip the meat on grill from time to time, cut and placed the grilled meat on our plate.
The BBQ buffet is located at the first floor. The restaurant on ground floor is for a la carte menu.
Free flow carbonated drinks.
The spread. Now we can enjoy unlimited kimchi, how good is that?! Seoul Garden has supplied kimchi to numerous of supermarkets in Kuching. Veges and fruits are all super fresh.
Variety of meat, marinated or plain, lean or fat meat piece to choose from.
Tempura and kimbap. They also provide rice.
Let's get it started!
Looks so enticing.. I enjoyed eating the pork belly with rice.
Oh yeah, there's another Korean restaurant also named Seoul Garden opened at Vivacity shopping mall. But it is not the same Seoul Garden at 3rd Mile. Seoul Garden at Vivacity is franchised, owned by Singapore company. That's why my bro said its taste is not as nice as the Seoul Garden at 3rd Mile.
