If you are a tourist, staying at Bukit Bintang area. Hunting food for breakfast, lunch or dinner nearby, I would recommend you to try Lot 10 Hutong Food Court. Please be reminded it's classified non-halal.
Usually I would opt here if I don't want to walk far as this place gathered all the popular local dishes from heritage brands and the price is reasonable too. The vendors here were carefully selected and the quality is well-maintained. The variety is wide, you can have Hokkien mee from Kim Lian Kee, pork ball noodle from the famous Imbi Road Original Pork Noodle, claypot chicken rice from Zhun Kee, wanton noodle from Ho Weng Kee, Klang bak ku teh from Pin Qian, beef noodle from Song Kee, roast duck rice from Roast Duckking, dim sum, Penang fried kueh tiaw, etc.
I just got to know from their FB page that my favourite Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee just moved in last year too. Didn't notice it on my last visit. Next time I don't have to travel far to have chilli pan mee again. Hopefully the taste is identical to the original one at Chow Kit branch.
The stalls here are generally operated by their workers. When the food served, you know they were just processed your order systematically. This is the bak ku teh ordered by my friend. I didn't taste it, I ever tried it long time ago but the soup was not as dark as this. My friend commented the taste was not bad actually. Well, I am not a fan of bak ku teh. But on rare occasion I would crave for it.
I chose to have roast pork rice instead. Slightly disappointed, maybe it is because the plate looks huge causing the portion looks pathetically little.
My another favourite food court in Bukit Bintang is Food Republic at Pavilion. Different of choices as compared to Lot 10 Hutong but usually I would go there for breakfast as I can have nice coffee with kaya toast at Toast Box.
